Raincity did a great job on my roof deck on both the Duradek install and the new glass railings. Very happy with their work.

Once the work was started, everything progressed quickly. Demo, prep work and vinyl install took less than a week. The railings were measured for early the following week and were installed earlier than expected. Knowing exactly what I wanted and had photos of the style of railings I wanted was helpful. All of the employees were considerate and easy to work with. I’m totally pleased with the results.

Rain City Decks did an awesome job on our deck from start to finish. Nick gave us a detailed quote he answered all our questions and concerns promptly. The workers were very professional, polite and cleaned up after each day of work. We couldn't have been happier with the whole process from start to end.

I have had my front and back decks redone by Nick's team in consecutive years and had excellent experiences both times. If I ever need another deck replaced I will call Nick again.

We meant to post a review back in the early spring when Rain City actually redid our front deck for us but we kept forgetting! Sorry guys! From our initial discussion and estimate on through the tear out and new deck everyone was easy to talk to and pleasant to have around. Deck turned out great too! So nice to have folks come in and simply do what we asked for, no fuss. Best, Ann and Brian.

Meeting Nick from Raincity Decks gave me confidence the job was going to be done right, and it was. On time, on budget with no issues. Communication about dates and times to do the work was seemless. Cleanup and taking away the old deck material was also taken care of. They replaced our 25 yr old faded and coming apart vinyl decking.

I can't say enough about the quality of work and professionalism from all Raincity workers. From start to finish they were polite, explained what was going on and consulted with me before continuing the work. We needed a waterproof deck repaired/replaced. We selected Duradeck and are very pleased with the result.
The deck was and still is surrounded by a custom cedar railing that they removed and reinstalled completely. They also left the worksite clean and tidy.

Raincity Decks was wonderful to work with, at every step of the way, I highly recommend them. In spite of an unexpected complication in the process of doing my deck work, the team handled the situation wonderfully and the finished result was great.

We had a very positive experience with Rain City Decks! They found the leak on our deck, which was in a completely unexpected place, and repaired the damage to satisfaction. Communications were open and transparent, no surprises in cost overruns. The crew was polite and accommodating. No wonder they've been in business for over 30 years and are willing to guaranteeing their work for 15+ years!

Nick, Kelly, Kellen and team were the upmost in professional throughout the whole process. We greatly appreciate their specialization in deck repair (as opposed to new deck construction). As a result of this, they are flexible - offering solutions as the project unfolds in a way that is pragmatic and practical. For instance, they retained any parts of the old deck that were still serviceable in order to minimize extra costs. The quality of their work is exemplary. I very closely monitored how the deck was installed, especially the Duradeck vinyl and it was clearly being done with expert hands. They answered our questions at every step and responded to our feedback promptly and insightfully. At one point, we asked if we should replace two additional posts at the end of our deck and they did so promptly and with minimal extra cost (as this work was out of scope). I highly recommend Rain City Decks. I've already referred them to a friend!

Fast response times, started work relatively quickly, good craftsmanship. Did take a bit longer to complete the work due to competing projects, but that wasn't a big deal.

Raincity Decks - Exceptional Service and Quality Workmanship
A Five-Star Experience Replacing Our Complicated Decks
We recently hired Raincity Decks to replace the front and back decks on our house with a TREX composite deck, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our project was anything but straightforward: it involved removing sleepers on a torch-on surface, replacing stairs that were falling apart, and dealing with railings that needed to fit onto new TREX decking, which was a different thickness than the 25 year old rotten wood.
From the start, Jeff—our project lead—demonstrated outstanding workmanship and professionalism. The entire Raincity Decks team handled the complexities of our job with skill and attention to detail. They made sure the torch-on surface was properly protected during removal and installation, and the new stairs are solid and beautifully finished.
One thing that truly impressed us was their approach to communication. Whenever we uncovered an issue or had a question, Jeff was quick to respond, clearly explained our options, and kept us in the loop throughout the process. This level of transparency and care is rare and made a big difference in our experience.
The pricing was fair for the scope and quality of work involved. There were no surprise costs, and we genuinely felt we received excellent value for our investment. The team also ensured the new railing was securely installed on the composite decking, despite the challenges posed by the material change.
If you're looking for a dependable, skilled, and honest deck contractor, I highly recommend Raincity Decks and Jeff. Our decks look fantastic and we are grateful for the stress-free process and exceptional results!

Despite some scheduling challenges, Rain City Decks did a great job replacing an old Duradeck.
The crew took pride in their work, and kept the site clean during the install. There were some tricky bits to deal with but everything was restored perfectly. When you rip up an old deck, there are always surprises and any additional necessary work that wasn’t quoted for was clearly explained in advance. Thank You Rain City.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick, Abe and his team at Rain City Decks to build new stairs for my deck, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, their professionalism and friendliness were evident. They completed the job quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality.
What truly sets Rain City Decks apart is their community-focused approach. Despite the potential to chase larger, more lucrative projects, Abe and his team took on my smaller job with the same level of dedication and care. It speaks volumes about their commitment to serving the local community.
