Below is Our Process, which outlines what you can expect at every project stage.
Schedule Your Free Consultation
Our process begins with a complimentary, no-obligation consultation. You can either call us directly or submit a request form through our website. A RainCity Decks representative will contact you within a few hours to arrange a site visit. Following the visit, you’ll receive a detailed written quotation outlining the scope of the work within 24 hours.
Approve the Quote
After reviewing the quotation, simply approve it to move forward. This approval acknowledges your acceptance of Our Terms of Service and the clearly defined Scope of Work, ensuring transparency and safeguarding your interests. At this stage, we will also request a deposit to secure your place in our project schedule.
Select Vinyl & Railing Colours
A key part of Our Process is selecting the colors for your vinyl and railings. This is a vital step to ensure that all materials are ordered and ready for installation on time.
Pre-Installation Call
As part of our process, you’ll receive a pre-installation call a few days before installation begins. During this call, we will confirm all project details and address any final questions to ensure everything is ready for the start of the project.
Managing Job "Extras"
Our process is designed to anticipate unforeseen circumstances. During repairs, we may encounter unexpected issues such as deck rot, which is common in the damp climate of the Lower Mainland. Moisture can accumulate under existing vinyl, causing hidden damage to the structure beneath.
We will contact you immediately if such issues arise to discuss the next steps. You will receive daily updates on the progress of any additional work, which will be billed on a time and materials basis.
Invoicing & Project Completion
We will follow up once your project is completed to ensure the work meets your expectations and address any outstanding issues. At this time, we will provide your product warranty (depending on the materials used) along with the final invoice. We kindly request prompt payment upon project completion.
